Local Colleges Have Dedicated Resources To Help You Finish What You Started
Re: Degree, spearheaded by OneSpartanburg, Inc. and supported by the Spartanburg Academic Movement’s ‘Movement 2030,’ is an effort to help the thousands of individuals across Spartanburg County with some college experience but no degree finish what they started. Data shows those with completed degrees have higher social and economic mobility, and increased pay opportunities available in their careers. Partnerships with our local institutions make it that much easier for adult learners to return to the classroom. Having another advocate on campus gives future students someone to contact with campus-specific questions and an added layer of support.
These partnerships are not limited to campus staff. The institutions listed here have made intentional changes to academic programs, policies and professional practice in order to better serve the adult learner population. This kind of collective impact truly demonstrates the spirit of Spartanburg County and how everyone can thrive here.
